This venue is wonderful! Lots of bars, separate men and women toilets (which only helps till the girls get drunk and rude and then they’re as bad or worse than the men) an assortment of food options (which I didn’t actually try but it looked like there were a few different trucks). She was a past middle age woman who walked with help of the EMS guys. Security was there on the spot to handle everything with very little distraction from the show. Everything was packed and they were checking armbands to make sure you were using the correct port-a-cans and not the sponsor port-a-cans.Īfter a few hours, some people had too much to drink and scuffles broke out. General admission tickets are usually just fine, but at this sold out concert, I was so thrilled to have a chair and still be able to see the stage. We have visited this venue on several occasions. Cell phone signal is not the greatest especially with so many people in one place. I'd suggest get a drink at last call and be prepared to hang out. It is chaos to get out of there on foot or by vehicle. I noticed some people were parking up the road a bit for a lesser charge. We used Lyft to get there, but on the way home, it becomes a "prime time" and you are charged an extra fee. It was $17 plus tip for a Miller Lite and Jack and water. There really is only one choice for food, so if you are really picky or not into deep fried alligator and burgers, your choices are limited. They have hand washing stations as well, but those are out of soap and paper towels after the first couple of hours. The restrooms are port-a-cans that start off very clean at the begining of the night. This is an outdoor venue without running water so open toed shoes and heels are probably not your best choices. Leave your pocket knife in the truck or they will take it. They do check bags and wand you as you enter. My honey sprang for preferred seating so we were in one of the shortest lines and they started letting people in before the 7:30 gates open time. Several thousand people is no exaggeration. My husband got us tickets to the Saturday night Robert Earl Keen and Willie Nelson concert.
